Waste Facility Officer

As the first point of contact at our busy waste facility, you'll be vital to our daily operations. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll operate the weighbridge, provide excellent customer service, and contribute directly to keeping our community clean and safe.

A Day in the Life:

• Engage with customers, providing clear advice on safe and correct waste disposal.

• Operate the weighbridge and POS system, processing payments and managing waste data.

• Manage site access (opening/closing) and inspect incoming loads for compliance.

• Perform hands-on tasks including forklift operation, processing recyclables, and basic equipment maintenance.

What You'll Bring:

• A customer-first attitude and great communication skills.

• Confidence with computers and experience with cash handling.

• A strong safety mindset and a hands-on, can-do approach.

• Essential: Valid Driver's Licence

• Essential: High Risk Work Licence (LF Forklift)
